The most popular credit cards used for payment are Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Although you can elect to accept whichever credit cards you wish, for the few extra dollars in monthly fees, we recommend that you accept American Express (and Discover), as about 15% of your members use an American Express card for payment of their business expenses.

The easier you make it for members to pay their fees, the better your collections will be. And, you will typically find less declines with American Express as compared to Visa or MasterCard cardholders being over their credit limit.
