Q: How do I credit back part of a sale posting?

 

A: There are two ways to credit back part of a transaction.... 

 
Posting Adjustment: Post a negative trade amount equal to the amount of credit desired, using the same buyer as the buyer and the same seller as the seller.
 
Cancel & Re-post: Reverse the original transaction, then post a new transaction for the appropriate amount. 

To reverse a transaction, when logged in as an Admin, find the transaction on the members statement, click the transaction number, then click the Reverse Transaction button.
