Merchant Accounts - Privacy Policy Requirement for MasterCard

Most credit card merchant processors, due to a new mandate by MasterCard, now require businesses that accept credit cards to detail their Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy and Returns Policy (if applicable). 

 
To accommodate for these requirements we changed the Terms of Use link in the footer of vBarter exchange sites to include these policies. We suggest, especially for exchanges that recently applied for a credit card merchant account, that you add your Privacy & Cancellation Policy to your website by using the content manager to edit the page. 
 
In http://manage.vbarter.com, simply click on Content > Regulations > Terms of Use. 
 
You can search Google or Bing for Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy to find sample text that you can use for your site. Some sites such as http://automattic.com/privacy/ allow you to copy their Privacy Policy.
