IRS - 2011 1099b Filing Dates

Furnish 1099b to member's by February 15, 2011. 

 

File Copy A of 1099b forms with the IRS by February 28, 2011. If you file electronically, the due date is March 31, 2011. 

 

To file electronically, you must 

have software that generates a file according to the specifications in Pub. 1220.

 

NOTE: vBarter provides a data file for downloading that is ready for IRS electronic filing pursuant to the specifications in Pub 1220.

 

 

If using preprinted forms, send Copy B to member and Copy A to the IRS. You can find details at: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1099b.pdf.
